GBC's Dirt Commanders!

I think I found my go to tire... On yesterdays ride I decided to test the durability of these tires (not intentionally) by hitting a huge rock at speed.. The tire did awesome, with a hit like this most tires would have been destroyed beyond repair but this tire is so stiff it put a dent in the beadlock ring and shattered my steering wheel with only a small place on the tire... More time will tell but if they keep this up I may not need another set of tires..

GBC makes a great tire.

I look forward to your opinion. Test them out good and let us know.

I just put sum on my rhino only got a couple rides on them. But really like them so far Im used to more of a mud tire.They ride alot better then mud tires and dont do to bad in muddy conditions.

I read your review, thanks! I'm looking for a 27" tire and don't like the fact that they are short. You said the Grim Reapers are over 26" for that size tire, do you know how the 27's run for the Grim Reaper? I'm also looking at the Dirt Tamers but would prefer 8 ply.

Scott, the 27" Grim Reaper is for a 14" rim only. They do not make them for 12 wheels.

I have 26" Reapers and they measured just over 26 3/8".

Love my Commanders....Dont see myself ever buying a different tire. GBC's prices cant be beat either.

Scott, the 27" Grim Reaper is for a 14" rim only. They do not make them for 12 wheels.

I have 26" Reapers and they measured just over 26 3/8".

I sent an e-mail to GBC trying to convince them that it would be beneficial to them and us if they offered the Grim Reaper and the Dirt Commander in 27" for the 12" wheel.. May not amount to nothing but????

Mud and Guts, I'm with you on that. 14" rim size is the main thing that keeps me looking at other options.

They told me they were fixing to release a new tire (within the next couple months) and after its release they are going to consider updating their sizing.. Wouldn't tell me anything about the new tire yet..

Brimstone runs Dirt Commanders on all their rentals

I think they are hoping to have the new tires at the Indy show next week.. I am trying to get a press report but he hasn't told me anything yet..

Next week? I think your gonna have a pretty bad trip to indy if your looking for the dealer show next week!!!

I didnt look to see if GBC was gonna have a booth or not this year....let me look.....Yes they will be there with a booth
