Hello SSW members and fellow SXS enthusiasts. The SSW staff is pleased to announce that we are organizing a camping event. This will be open to any SSW member and their family with no registration fee, although we do prefer that you confirm attendance with the number of attendees (below) so we can give the campground a heads up on the number of participants to expect. We anticipate receiving a group rate discount on lodging, although those details have not been finalized yet and we will update you as soon as that info is available.
Our disclaimer......this will be an "unofficial/unsanctioned" event hosted and organized as a camping event by the SSW staff. If you choose to ride, there will be plenty of opportunity for that, but the SSW staff/management assumes no liability in that action. The trail rides are simply members riding alone or in groups and are not part of the official SSW camping event. SSW and PRC will simply be the avenue used to prmote the event. We have some members that are very familiar with the trails to lead us on rides, or you can ride on your own. The trail system is marked fairly well and can be easily navigated with the use of a Coal Creek OHV map (see info below).
This will be a great opportunity to meet fellow SSW and PRC members at one of the easts premier riding destinations, located in the beautiful Cumberland mountains of east TN. As with past events, we are certain that the time and fellowship spent with new and old friends will not soon be forgotten.
WHAT: 2012 SSW Camping Jamboree
WHERE: Windrock Park (Coal Creek OHV Area / Oliver Springs, TN)
WHEN: June 21, 22, and 23, 2012 (early birds arriving 6/18 thru 6/20)
WHO: ALL SSW and PRC members are invited (You must register as a member of SSW to attend)
There will great fellowship and meet & greet with fellow members, as well as plenty of non-sanctioned riding. Guided rides will be offered Thursday 6/21, Friday 6/22, and Saturday 6/23. Since most folks will be leaving around noon on Sunday 6/24 (check-out time for the campground is 11:00 a.m.).
For those wanting even more camping and riding, 'Early Birds' will begin arriving June 18th until the event begins. Many members will be showing up on Sunday 6/17 or Monday 6/18 and staying the entire week, so there will be additional riding opportunities for those interested in showing up sooner.

Although you are welcome to camp wherever you please, we encourage members to reserve places close to the rest of us. Some of the staff has already made reservations in the vacinity of cabin numbers 3 and 4, and RV site numbers C8 and D9. That will help keep us in close proximity for more fellowship opportunities.
If you choose to ride, ALL VEHICLE OCCUPANTS (not just the driver) must possess a Coal Creek OHV riding permit that is available at the campground or trailhead and permit costs are posted below. Maps are also available at both locations.
