| Thats what i want too but its going to be a little more involved cause of my short bed truck. dont know how good the off set hitch works and even then its only sets it back like 5 inches so its going to be close on hitting my back window plus if i do the goose neck 38 thats a 20 foot garage with 8 foot sleeper so i only have have 10 feet of living where if i go with the 34 bumper pull i have 20 garage and 14 living so i dont what fits me better. you think pulling a 34 bumber pull would suck ? i pull a 24 now | |

| goose necks and fifth wheels pull 10 times better than bumper pulls. i have a 33 ft fifth wheel and a short bed truck and i have a slider hitch but have not used the slide feature in about 4 years. | |

| Another thing I would consider in the purchase is the number of axles. That tri axle bumper pull is going to eat up the rear tires quick and often. | |

| I heard that on the third axle. i had a 38 ft scarab power boat and didnt have to many problems. i wander why maybe the boat sit on it diffrent. i know you couldnot cut it as sharp backing it up because you could rip the tire off the wheel. i just know it would be easier to find a another truck if i neeed one for mine broke down to pull the bumper pull vs finding a truck some where with a goose neck | |

| The goose neck will pull better like everyone said. You have a good point about if your truck brakes down. Goose necks are pretty common around here with all the horse trailers. But I myself only have like one buddy with ball in his bed.. I know about 10 with trucks that could pull my bumper pull in a pinch lol. Going with that long of a trailer though I'd probably get the goose neck anyway. | |

| Well i just thought about it and to get the 20 ft garage and 14 living i have to go with a 42 goose neck because it has the 8 foot sleeper over hang and my HD 2500 gas 6.0 motor isnt going to pull that big of a trailer. So i guess i might have to go with the 34 bumper pull and fill my air bags full and flooor the gad pedal. my 24 wasnt to bad since i have air bags. what the heck its only 19 eet more right ? and about 2000 more lbs camt trade truck in for a new one this trucks just a year old and way up side down it. | |

| i would go GN but thats me. the shortbed will not hurt you at all. you just cant turn as sharp like you can with a long bed. | |

| 42ft gooseneck is a big trailer... The length isn't really all that big of a deal whats the weight going to be? One thing with a goose neck or fifth wheel since the weight is over the axles the truck can handle more weight. I know with my truck bumper pull is only rated at 13k but its rated for over 17k for a fifth wheel. I'm a little surprised you need air bags for just a 24 footer with a 3/4 ton truck though. If you have the smaller rear end that will limit the weight rating quite a bit. | |

| I have a short bed 2500 Silverado crew cab 4x4 and pull a Wildwood 35 foot 5th wheel. I put a goose neck adaptor on the trailer and use a B&W flip over ball in the bed of my truck. I will never have a 5th wheel hitch in my bed again. My Wildwood has a 10 foot seperate garage. Stealth bought one like it. | |

| yea over all with a 20 ft garage i will have more living if i go with the 34 box bumoer pull. I have to get a 42 goose neck minus 8 over hang sleeper area to get the 14 living area with a 20 garage on it. i think i might try the 34 bumper pull. Hell i used to pull a 38 ft scarab power boat and it weighed 14.000 lbs but i did have a dooley, are you going to put a wall in the middle for a garage ? | |

| Im not going to put a wall. I am thinking of getting the pop out tents though . one on each side . I have to put my S , my wifes 4 and my kids 170 in there so a wall would not work lol | |

My Wildwood has a posted dry weight of 7,500 lbs. Stealths is a 2012 and I think his was rated higher. I put the gooseneck adaptor on the trailer, and the B&W flip over ball in the truck. My Silverado 2500 HD is a 6.0 gas. | |
