Yep, especially considering how much $$ you can pour into one so quickly....

I've never quite understood why people want to intentionally run one in 4 feet of mud and water, or go beat the crap out of it on a pile of rocks -- just to say "I did it"...

IMO, that's kinda like buying a new car, then taking it to the demolition derby....

I can enjoy an occasional challenge while riding the trails -- but my primary objective is riding the trails -- so that means that I have to have a machine that's still in one piece and functioning as it should...

I also don't have the disposable $$ to spend on repairs, nor the patience to deal with repeated repairs or breakdowns...

Different strokes for different folks...

A guy that rides with us tried violator 7 times last week never made it all the way but he came close that was on a 09 RZR S with 28s. He kept bottoming out on the rut at the top. Hes getting 30s and is gonna attempt it again to see if it gives him enough GC to clear the rut. But theres no way i would try it

Not sure who all went, we just got back.. 25 guys entered. Out of 25 ALL but one were RZRs. They had one Rhino with a plus 6 on it. The rhino did not make any of the hills. Infact It only got about half way on the two hills it tried. It did not try one because it broke a tie rod.. Every single RZR made it up boat ramp minus one who had his exhaust come loose. I'd say about 75% of the RZRs made it up playground. The hill wasn't that bad just had a lot of places to get hung up and a few ran out of time. Violator which is the steepest hill and also the one that has never been climbed by any SXS.. Well it has now.. A RZR XP made it all the way up it with zero help. Pretty much all the other RZRs that tried it made it about 90% of the way to the top and had to winch past some major rutts at the top.. When I say rutts I mean major ones made by 44"+ tires. A lot of custom machines ride there with huge tires and major power.

People can say what they want about this machine or that machine. BUT I honestly don't think any other SxS can out perform a RZR in the mountains.. Look forward to seeing what the wild cat can do though.

I thought it was a great competition the racers really put a beatdown on there machines and most of them took it.I personally would'nt abuse mine that way but it is fun watchin everybody else do it.The guy that made it up violator was the man of the day he showed everybody what a rzr is capable of. I am purty sure this will become an annual event.

It was pretty funny hearing the local jeep and buggy guys talking. At playground I heard a few ahh they aren't going to do this or that.. Them little side by sides aren't going to make to the top of this.. At the end of the last hill it changed to. Hell I might need to just sell my jeep and buy a RZR :)

Those RZRs really made boat ramp look easy. It was funny as chit watching that 4 seater go right up it..
