Wow me an about 20 customers have been told by Four wheels of Texas in FT Worth Texas they dont want our bussiness any more becuase they wont fight the state. Heres what happen. About 20 other customers like my self have bought 3 or more polaris from they over the years and each time used a agricultural id number to be tax excempt. Had all the right forms and every thing was done right. Now 4 yrs later the state comes in and because they need money they have told the audiors to find some . So they go to sevral dealers in the state and tell them that no RZR or rangers can be used on a farm and cant be tax excempt. That is so wrong when you can use a snow plow or pull a trailer on a farm. So the dealer instead of fighting this lays down and pays it then the best part is they call these people like myself and tell them we owe them money for this after all these years. So like most all of us we laugh and say no i was right and you shouldnot pay this and fight it. But insteasd they say the owner said it and now doesnt want any of our business anymore. Thats good to know i dont want to do bussiness with anyone who is a coward and wont stand up and fight when they know its wrong to throw it back on us after 4 yrs. What a joke they are calling people after 4 yrs and asking them to come in pay taxes on this after all the paper work was done right. So be very careful if you do bussiness with four wheels of Texas it might comeback to cause you problems. __________________ Click this bar to view the full image.

| That is kind of silly there, I know my dealer told me in KY that the law says the sxs needs to be able to hold a standard size bale of straw and you must own a certain number of acreas. We have about 60 acres and the rzr is my pig feeder around the farm! That is a bunch of crap if your dealer just rolled if they complied with the law at the time. | |

| When I bought my Rhino at S&S in Louisville, they refused to do farm tax on it. I was pretty much stuck as it was the only Sport Ed. left in the state for 2007.

| I did mine exempt from a dealer in Bowling Green. Yamaha of Louisville was going to exempt me too. They just couldn't get the RZRS in when I needed it. We use ours on our property with a 4 foot, 1,000 capacity trailer behind it and snow plow about 1,000 feet of drive, along with some neighbors too. We live on 7 acres, but the exemption is on our family farm, which is 1125 acres in Hardin County KY. Hope that dealer don't call wanting money is what I will do. | |

| I too purchased my Teryx with an agriculture tax exemption. I was never asked about acreage owned or how I planned to use the vehicle on the farm. The dealer didn't even require that I provide any official proof of farm ownership, I just told them it was going to be used on a farm. Gov't better not come back to me for money, it's all invested in my ride! | |

| i would not be overly hard on this dealer. This tax assessment could/would break his small company. To fight it would cost $$$$$$, and he probably would not prevail. He is in a very bad spot. Remember, his company's role is as a "free collection agency" for the State. The tax is suppose to be paid by the buyer. Poor Guy. | |
