PDS Fab Gen 2 seat bases & SEATS!!

had the bases for a while - now it may be time to start looking at seats...

I am getting ready for back surgery in a month - and when i come out, rehab, and start riding again (fall / winter) - I think I will want a much more comfortable seat...

What seats will work with the gen 2 seat bases without much fab work (ie. bolt right in please)... and what does everyone think about highback seats vs. lowback? and I do still want my bed if that matters...

from what ive read i take it if you use high back seats you have to take out the rear frame support bar :evil: but with low back you dont :| but im sure the high backs are more comfy but anyone whit actual experiece with both and stock cages should chime in for a def answer

i have high backs and i had to take off my rear brace bar.....wasn't a big deal to me cause i was ordering a rear harness bar anyways.....
my seats hug me...at first i thought it was almost to much, but now i'm used to them and love them......
i sprayed scotch guard all over the fabric so if they get muddy i can just wipe them off......and for the dust, i just take an air hose...works great.

the prp seats Ive got really helped my back..They are sweet!!

when I do seats I plan on redoing my braces and harnesses anyhow...

I am leaning towards highback for sure!!

i would like high back also cause im tall and the low backs hit me just above mid back which isnt very nice so i would have to buy harness bar and hanresses even more $$$ to pull out of thin air :|

i bought the harness bar, but have been holding out on the harnesses....the ones i want are so damn expensive.........almost 100 bucks apiece.....thats just ridiculous i think

dude - you will pay $90 for standard 4 points new... $100 aint chit for the life saving straps you want ... dump the crappy 3 point oem ones and get some good oh chit straps so you can really open that baby up and PLAY!!!....

also remember- it is your life... if you got a $100 life...then sweat the straps...and if you got a five cent head, wear a cheap helmet too.... just my soap box - sorry!!

yes I remember.... i changed it to five cents in honor of Bull Durham....

it's not really me....i would have bought them already if i were single....my wife doesn't understand the need for my continuing to purchase new things for my rhino.....to me it's kind of comical.....she doesn't think so though

every married man needs to horde a slush fund for rhino parts - sure they will know about some parts - but they dont need to know about all of em...

like these seats - she will know about the seats... hell they are obvious... but she may not be aware of the frame gussets, skid plates, exhaust, intake, shocks....etc...see where I am going ???

hell i aint even married yet and my ol lady bitches now :evil: but she buys me things also :D now im just workin on her buyin me rhino parts but she is down with the mods after i do them so at least it only lasts till they are installed i told her about the snorkels and she was like hell yeah do em babe i almost my pants in surprise/excitment for no explanation of why i needed/should do em ...sorry long post

if i had somebody local to deal with it wouldn't be a big deal.....i have slush fund....but everything i buy i have to use a damn credit card to pay for.....and she always beats me to the mailbox
