Just got off the phone with Eaton....

They are making a selectable locker for the commander..... should be testing it this summer and look for final stages of it around fall. I can sense fear from the rzr boys already

Yes but the setup the RZR has sucks I would much rather have it like the Rhino

and thats what eaton is talking about, having a limited slip mode then a full lock mode like the rhino/teryx

that is easy to do on the rzr, all you have to do it put a switch in line the puts 12v on the wire giong to the front diff. instantly locks it in.

I much more prefer the switch on 4wd over the stop and engage 4wd then diff lock on the Rhino...plus the Rzr diff is much much cheaper to fix than the Rhino.

polaris has the best 4x4 system out now. i use to think that the 4x4 and diff locklike on the yamaha was the best but polaris has them beat. try driving through a rocky trail that has lots of turns with the diff locked on a rhino. the polaris system is a little weaker with the plastic cage in the diff but they seem to have it fix now.

My vote is for the Kawi's setup, you can adjust how hard its locked by how much you pull the lever. The downside to it, like the Rhino, is they are not cheap at all to repair when they do break.
