Yeah I would like to know the tread depth and over all height of the tire.

Nice looking tires, I got to check them out yesterday along with the new mega Mayhem and their new wheels, everything looked great.. I am glad they finally offer an 8-ply tire that is designed for us east coast riders. Can't wait to see how the stack up..

Ditto, neal I wish I would of known you were there! I barley missed Craig, These are some nice lookin tires, just wish they made em a lil bit bigger!!

I had no plans of going till last minute but next year I am going to pan well in advance, this show was well worth the drive for sure.. Met a lot of great people and seen some awesome products. I don't know what time you got there but I got there before it opened and took a few pics before the crowd then left around 4:30 I guess. As for sizing the way I like to ride 27" is plenty big enough for now... lol

how deep was the tread

I would say that Big Horns are going down.....

I got to see these tires in person today. No doubt I will be ordering a set as soon as the 27" are available. The 26" lugs were 1".

If they are anywhere near as tough as the race they are named after, they should be awesome.

I am hoping so. It is a 8 ply tire. The rim guard was very thick. I am really excited about this tire.

I wanted to try these as well but I stayed with the horn for now. I will order a set to try very soon though.

If I was to make a tire. It would be a bastard between XTRs and Bighorns. I think this tire is it.

I have had a set of these for a few months now and they are doing great so far! I got 26/11/12 on all four corners.

I have wanted a set sense I first saw them. However, the 27" are still not available. Maybe the end of the month.

I have ran a lot of ITP tires in the past but I had not run an ITP tire in many years because they were just to soft for my liking. When I seen ITP had stepped up the game with these 8 ply tires I knew I had to have a set. These tires get excellent traction, I am impressed with how well they are holding up and how good they dig. Last weekend I did a little work to the bike looking for a little more umpppp and decided to climb a little hill i had climbed several hundred times and made it further than I had every made it in two wheel drive till I broke the left rear axle. After breaking the axle I put the bike in diff lock and it started slipping so I ended up putting the winch to the test and winched about 250 foot to the top of this hill. In four years this was the first time I had broke an axle and was sure glad I had a good winch..

Now Neil, you know what climbing hills in two wheel drive gets you................. Broke axles...........

I got a 450 bro its not suppose to break axles... lol I have been lucky this was my first one atleast it happened before the warranty ran out so I could get something out of that warranty.. I was fixing to swap heads with a ported head and cam but thats got to wait for now..

I ordered a set of 27's on STI beadlocks a few days ago. Should be in Monday so I get to try them out at Windrock. I'll post a review after I gettem rolling.

Did you get the 12"s or the 14"s? I know you kinda got pissed about all the plugs we had to put in at Black Mtn.

Yea I got the 12s. The plugs have held so far, it just sucks wondering when the next pinch will be. Hopefully by goin to 12s and 8 ply tire I won't hafta worry bout that anymore.
