I got them at Orielys they are just everyday run of the mill Equuis guages, about $30 for the pair. They are very easy to see where they are. I also used liquid electrical tape on the backs to seal it them up better from water. At the price if I have to change them every year or two its no big deal.

I may put a green filter on the lights and see how they look.

how hard were they to install...i've been thinking about doing that myself but didn't know if i could tackle it.

Very simple. Just order this adapter (autometer makes one for twice the price) http://www.utvcrap.com/product_info.php?cPath=26_59&products_id=339

Splice the adapter in line just where the radiator hose leaves the engine (drivers side top rear) then run a wire from the gauge to the sensor you put in the adapter. Hook up a + and - lead and hook the light into a + and - for the back light. Very simple.
