What is the best battery...

Hey guy's what battery are you using? I am thinking about replacing my stock battery cause it's so weak and easily run down. Are any of you running dual batteries? If so how did you wire them into your system? Thanks in advance for your insight.

I use a dual setup with the kit from Polaris.

You can also get One of these although there was a recall on them sometime back so I am not sure if they got it resolved.

I just replaced the stock battery in my rhino with an odyssey pc925. My stocker was still good but I didn't want to chance it anylonger. Odyssey makes great stuff and for how I ride I wanted to go with a name I could trust. I don't have duals.

Neil is right. Odyssey is a great battery. I had it in the 08 RZR. Good stuff!

I replaced mine with the Odyssey. No problems except I had to buy an after maket tray. Got that from Super ATV. Local stores like Pep Boys and AutoZone sell a lot of the Optima's. A lot of folks on here run those. I found my battery on the Internet, put in best price for the Odyssey and got it about $40.00 cheaper than the sell price that others had for, with free shipping.

I run the Optima Red top battery no problems at all.

I run a full size optima yellow top. I got a really good deal on it otherwise I probably would have run an odyssey probably.

I got a motobatt gel battery off amazon 19 amp 450 cold cranking for 88.00.Has two sets of terminals on it fof acc hookup. Nice battery.

I am running a dual battery set up with the tray from RPM Fab with an Optima Yellow Top. I would have went another route but I had an extra Yellow Top in the garage from the Jeep setup.

im using optima battery red... its kinda pricey but it will last and i run a radio the volume is max and the cv radio hid light and bar light... good luck choosing one

Optima or Odyssey either ones are good batteries. If you want a drop in replacement go for the odyssey. If you don't mind installing a battery tray or making one I'd probably go with an Optima.. I've got the Odyssey in mine and have been happy with it. BUT they now cost a few dollars more then they did when I got mine. They also cost more then the smallest yellow top Optima. The Optima also has a larger reserve and only weighs a couple pounds more. So if I were to buy one tomorrow it would probably be a Yellow top Optima..

Guys, will the Yellow top Optima fit in a stock RZRS battery tray?

No it won't. I bought a battery tray from EMP. You could easily make one for it too.

how r u guys putting full size batteries in your rides? there's a big size difference in the two batteries
