We are going to be at Brimstone for a week. Was wondering if the New River Unit area is worth exploring? If so, suggested trails?

I like New River... be sure to take a chain saw... and your WMA permit.

The trails haven't been touched in years. 14 and 22 are musts. All the rest are interesting... and there usually isn't any traffic.

Dan -The funny thing is I loaded up your maps into Google earth and was planning some routes for our up coming trip. I noticed how close it was and looks like you've mapped it well. the WMA permit is seperate from Brimstone, correct?

Yes and they are $32 a day per machine. I think it is $116 per year. They really like for us out of staters to ride their trails......
