Windrock Trails getting bad Empty
PostSubject: Windrock Trails getting bad   Windrock Trails getting bad EmptySun Jul 15, 2012 6:57 pm

Went up to the Stair steps last nite and its looking really rough. I climbed it at this past jamboree, but dont know if i would try it again now. Also done some of 39 and 40 last nite and im sure alot of it was just how muddy and wet things were, but i dont really care anything about hitting it again lol. Wife was not happy about those trails :)

The Stair steps are not maintained. They do not really want anyone going up it. Also, I am not sure 39 is a trail they maintain either. It is really a rock crawler trail.

I don't think Rooster maintains any of the extreme trails. Also, several of the difficult trails aren't maintained, either.

So far 12 has been my favorite trail. 57 is fun too, just a bit long. Id like to try 39 and 40 again dry and in the day light. Without having a winch mine took a real beating on some of those hills. There was on ledge we dropped off of that i about flipped frontwards on, had to hold it wide open as soon as my front hit to keep it from flipping. Major pucker moment lol. The xp and wildcat done pretty good there with there long wheelbase.

I'd say they were pretty puckeary as they are even with a winch.

I did not take it that way at all. I just thought you asked a question so I wanted to answer. However, you answered in your post below.

You are right about Windrock, you have every type of riding at that place. It can be as hard or easy as you want to ride. Good place!

Also on trail 16 there is a hill that goes up to your left with a sign that reads (un maintained) or something like that. Where does it go and how bad is it?

I know the hill you are talking about. However, I have never tried it. I usually have to many machines with me to try.
