Bryant's/Coppinger Cove ride 9/29

On the 29th we will be going into the Cove from the Sequatchie end, all the way through to the waterfall past the church. From there we are going back to the church, up the mountain to the blacktop at Bear Pen Road. We will have to run the blacktop back to Chimney Park in the Pocket (about three miles), then back down Rockhouse Hill and down to the main cove road and back out at Sequatchie.

This is a great route to take and goes through some parts of the Cove that aren't ran quite as much. I'm waiting to hear from a few others before setting a start time, but will probably around 8am CST.

I've secured good safe parking for this trip, within 2 miles of where the blacktop ends.

Ok, here's the details. We will be leaving the parking area no later than 0930 EST on Saturday. Please try to get there around 0900 if possible. The best I can do for an address is 1330 Coppinger Cove Road, Sequatchie, Tn 37374. The church will be on your left, it's right past the camp, can't miss it.

Everyone please be careful not to tear the church lot up, this is the best place to park that I've ever had for this end of the cove so I don't want to lose it.

We were there Saturday, however this weekend is my birthday.. haha

We will come up close Friday evening and staying some where. Will meet yall at 8:00am central. There will be 3 RZR's on 2 trks. 4 people. Can't wait.

Look up the Acuff Country Inn in Jasper, Tn. That's the closest place to the meeting spot. It isn't anything special though. LOL!

looks like 50% chance of rain, guess I will see what it's looking like Friday evening

When I looked this morning it showed 30%, hopefully that will keep going down. LOL!

I'm glad everyone had a good time, we had a great group! I will try to get the few pics that I took up tomorrow before work (including a couple of a certain stuck RZR, lol).

You guys just let me know when you want to go back and what sections you liked the best and I will try to route the next trip around that.

I just found out that there are small cabins for rent at the Trials Training Center, which is within a mile of where we parked...

They don't look like much, but appear to have heat and AC. And it's cheap. LoL!
