| Hey Guys, The RhinoForum guys finally axed my thread on our Club. It was up for 3 days though. I sent the ADMIN (BrianB) a PM asking why. Told him that if the local forums were not to help people meet other people for rides, what were they for? Said I did'nt understand why it was removed and asked for an explanation. Think I'll get a reply? | |

| Great looking signature wvyankee2. You should have made it a link though. They probably won't say anything the way it currently is but if you made it a link; it might be a problem. I think the only way any sites care is when you LINK something to a competitiors site. |

| One more thing to add to my last reply:
Don't go trying to aggravate RhinoForums.net or Highlifter, or any other forum for that matter. We don't need that reputation thrown back at us here. If you try to harass an aggravate them it can be turned back on the club an make this one look bad.
Let them go their rounte and let this club go a seperate rounte. There is room for 2+ clubs in the SxS would. |

| If you want my opinion, no scratch that :D Im giving it anyway. You guys are going about this all wrong, you need to stop posting links and saying come to the forum and promote this as what it is a Club for SXS Riders. Most forums have threads for clubs, then you get new people looking and they find its also a forum. I think you could get this left alone at a lot more places that way. | |

Most forums have threads for clubs, then you get new people looking and they find its also a forum. I think you could get this left alone at a lot more places that way. Thats what we were doing, and they were having none of it. They have regional forums that we posted on. The Southeast forum, we simply said we had a new SideXSide club that was forming for the purpose of group rides and meet and greets. And we said it was open to all SideXside riders. You would think that regional forums set up within a Rhino's Forum would be set up for just that. For people from that area to hook up and ride, or share info on places to ride. Dont see anything wrong with that. if anything I think it would actually bring more traffic to their site, from word of mouth from the local club forums on where to go for UTV specific Tech info. For whatever reason they see a outside Club( especially from the East) as a threat to their Forum simply IMO because they are shortsighted Dumb asses. The more time you spend over there, the more you realize that as an Easterner you are an outsider. Like Joshc posted in the new members thread here, it is hard to get answers from them over there. They benefit from your membership, but have no interest in the setup of a Rhino for Rock crawling, mudbogging, or woodlands trail riding. Just The Dunes. So, with that said, messin with them a little bit wont hurt us at all. The Eastern Rhino owners there will want to find us after they are their awhile. And in time they will. | |

| There has been more and more newbees posting from the east. There is tremendous growth in the SideXSide market in the east lately, and they have very few options for info, and organization. That is where we come in. I think I can speak for others who came here from an invite from the RhinoForums when I say what a joy it was to get here from there. Can't help but think (know) that many more Easterners will feel the same way when they find us. " In every RhinoForums.net member from the east, their is a Southern SideXSide Riders Club member waiting to get out." Do I get a big AMEN on that Nick? | |

| i've been back... but, not very much. it's funny, before i opened this thread... i believed we should be thank ful for rhinoforums.net b/c that's where most of us met(the originals, anyway). but, now after reading this.. it's hard to feel that way. maybe they wouldn't mind if we were to work out some kind of deal: they advertise on here and let us advertise on there.
anyways.. i think i'll be staying here. |
