| My 2011 s model is having overheating issues. And when it isn't overheating the temp is very jumpy. When to temp it will go from 188 to 210 then slowly back to 180ish over and over. Then it will climb to 240+ and i have to shut it off. I have bleed it numerous times and even on an incline so i dont think it has an air bubble in it. It made it roughly 5 hrs of riding last weekend without any issues so i thought it was fixed, but today within 25 minutes of riding it done it again. Went on to do it 3 times today before i gave up and took it home. Any ideas? thermostat or water pump maybe??? | |

| Check the relay below the battery,on top of the skid plate. Mine is a 2011 and sis the exact same thing.. Relocated it to the battery box and replaced with a $5 relay from Napa. Works great now. | |

This is the problem that most have had with the 2011's and some 2012's. | |

| Replaced the circuit breaker today and still overheating. Leaning towards thermostat now. Took impeller out check it over and ended up messing up the seal behind it. Not a happy camper. | |

| Are you sure it's not the water pump seal? Mine overheated on me at Brimstone. That was the problem. Still heats up to 204, but the fan kicks on, the temp drops and no temp light. You may check that out. | |

| Im gonna go ahead and get the whole assembly that goes behind the impeller and a thermostat and hopefully that will do it. When i pulled out the brass seal for water pump, there is another rubber seal behind it. Anyone know what it is? Oil pump seal?

| I had the same problem with my 2011 RZR 800S. It was the relay under the seat. Rusted and would not work. I bought one from NAPA and moved it up behind the seat. perfect! Polaris knew about this and fixed in 2012. Meanwhile I spent over $1000 letting the dealer play with it. Told me I was driving too fast, needed a pump, needed a new wire harness, air lock, etc. | |
