Apparently not, but it still climb pretty good IMO... I was most impressed with the Wildcat, with just a clutch kit, it apppears to really help the acceleration, it climbed the rocks well. This is good for the industry, Polaris now has some competetion

Put the same tires on all of them. The RZR would have killed if not for lack of traction in the drags. On the rocks, the Cat sure looked the best.

Interesting vid, wished they all had the same tires, look forward to see how they all do in the woods on narrow track.

What will be interesting is if the Wildcat X coming in March has all that its rumored to have - WCD (Team racing), better turning radius and a bump in HP from the factory.

I disagree pete, look at the drag vids, they used two different 900's one had Grim reapers and doors the other had the stock tires and no doors, neither one of then won.they were all in 4 wheel drive.....It also appeared the Cat's trailing arms don't hang as low as the XP's with same size tires.
It seems like the forums and media were full of shit in regards to the power difference between the Cat and XP All three machine were spinning all 4 tires off the start, I had heard that with good clutching the wildcat beats the XP, I didnt believe it until this video......I've done alot of testing due to my job and 300ft is regulation distance at most Pro drags, with Bighorns the XP would not have made up that much distance in that lengthand "killed" the Cat.....at best it would have been even......
The Maverick with it's "shitty" front diff was still climbing the rocks pretty darn good. Just my opinion but the Cat and Mav were hooking up better than the XP with the Reapers, lots of spinning even though all 4 were spinning.
I'm just glad someone put something together and gives the customers something to go by.
I'm certainly not brand loyal to any of these 3 companies for sure, but Polaris now has real competetion......The Cat has it beat in suspension, the Mav has it beat in power........
Did anyone really think that all the OEM's would just sit back and let polaris have this market all to themsleves?
Now when the Japanese OEM's decide to finally produce Sport machine's like these with power, suspension, and long term Japanese durability, it most likely will be game over......

Cat was the only one that didn't have the strap on the front either ............
But really, nice to see a change in the market. Every time I ride the trails I say "look there goes another rzr"

maverick didn't look to good to me. That 4wd system has proven it sucks on the commanders.. Wildcat does look pretty good. I just wish it had some fenders. Also didn't help me that the closest dealer is all the way up in Fayetteville, TN. I have two polaris dealers with in 20 mins from my house.. I think its longer wheelbase really helps it in rocks kind of like the 4 seater RZR.. The 4 seater wildcat though just looks to long for trails.. Maybe not. Like everyone I'm glad we are getting other sport machines. It will only cause all of them to get better.. Lets hope they get into a price war once they get their designs locked in!!! lol a wishful thinking I know...

that video looked pretty well made as far as unbiased,,, and i have a wildcat and have had no problem on the trails.. and it really does climb great,, another 20 horse from the factory would have been fantastic, but it does damm well with what its got,

Very excited to see some fine "sport" machines being tested. That is good for all of us. I think I am going to take my XP back because there is something wrong with it! When I nail it when taking off the front end raises about 6 inches and doesn't come down till I lift. (that is usually about 50mph) I see the one in the video settles down much quicker so mine must be jacked.

ya know I noticed that myself.. I don't really care about which is faster in a drag so I didn't bother to say anything.. If you stomp mine the back squads and the front pulls and it stays like that for a while.. When you let off you can feel it level out. Maybe its just their shock settings. Maybe he lifted a little when it go loose who knows. They are all pretty close in power though with the maverick having a decent bump over the other two. I just don't understand why they won't improve the 4wd.. Out of all the things to slack on a offroad vehicle.. The 4wd system is pretty important...
