| I have a clutch kit (not installed) and I was wondering who else is running a machined sheave or clutch kit. Also, has anyone used an aftermarket fuel controller on their 700FI, or used a clutch kit and a FC. Just wondering what kinds of gains you saw, if any, and were there any drawbacks? | |

| The kit I bought has a sheave, shims, and roller weights. The shims give you bottom end grunt as do the rollers, and the machine sheave is supposed to open up the top end to over 50mph. I have heard fuel controllers (or an aftermarket ECU) will push it out past the mark of 55 or more. Just curious. | |

| i have a Hunterworks Sheave on mine 700 and got 50-51mph on flat ground.....just got my Dynatek ECU...and now i'm getting 53-54mph.... now as i'm not so happy about only 3-4 mph, i did get a TON more low end power...when i give it gas...it goes...so all in all i think it was worth the money..... still may look into a fuel controller and see if i can get anymore out of it....... | |

| How much was the Dynatek total? How easy was it to install. I know the PC3 on the King Quad was pretty simple with only one wire to splice. The rest was all made to fit factory plugs. The PC3 for the KIng was 250, and I sold it for 150 after about 2 months. I went and got the VDI unit when it came out and it was a world of difference between the PC3 and the VDI. The VDI also cost me twice as much. I guess it is all in what you pay for .... | |

| the Dynatek ECU was 250 less 10% rf.net discount from Rigid industries.....installation was a breeze after i found all the connections....all plug and play....no slicing wires(to bad though, cause i'm getting good at that). Took me about 2 beers to hook it up..... like i said though, i'm still a little disappointed about the top end.....but hopefully i get that figured out with a fuel controller or something down the road....since the FI doesn't automatically adjust for intakes/exhaust, etc. | |
