Guess WHO Game-Winner already

Gonna play a little game here. The answer I am looking for is the person's name. He is very well known and famous. I will post some pictures of the place were he has been and give some update hints. I will answer your guess as quick as I can.

Some of you will eventually know the place and who I am talking about. Give the others a chance.

The first hint:

He spent some time in this room!

NO guesses yet! Ok he rode hear with his brother, on occasions. His uncle owned this place years, years and years ago.

The date stamp on this beam will give you a hint of the time when the first owners had the place built.

My brother bought this place a couple of years ago and made it livable again. The house was built by the Samuels of Samuels Distilleries, in Deatsville, Kentucky, outside of Bardstown (Rooster Run area). The house was started around 1796 and finished around 1804, I think he said. The room in that pic was a hidden room off of the slave quarters in the attic. The slaves lived in the attic in this house. Jesse laid up in that hidden room for a while after being shot in the leg running from a possee. Jessee and Frank would often take refuge at the house because their uncle was the 2nd generation name to own the house and a district judge at that time. My brother is the 4th generation name to own the house. A friend of ours had it for 9 years, but did not make it fully livable, then sold it to my brother.
