| Does anyone want to start planning a trip to the Hatfield-McCoy trail system for this summer in June 2008. wvyankee2 you may want to step in here and give us some more details since you are local. I just want to spark the discussion.
As far as june of 2008 I am off the weekends of 7th, and 21st. Although I plan to take enough vacation time to have a full week off an stay Sunday June 1st throught the Sunday June 8th. How many people think they can make it that week?
wvyankee2 since your local, you need to let us know when is the perfect time to come up. |

| If it is in June, The week of June 6-13 would be best for me. October is another awesome month. But, you better make reservations early! Need to figure out what Trailheads you want to ride. Also Hatfield/ McCoy accomadations around the trailheads (cabins, camping) are fairly expensive for what they are. Like I said before, the benefits are being able to unload once and park in front of your lodgeing. I have trails in Charleston that I could take you on for a week, and you could stay in the sleep inn probably cheaper than the cabins, and accomadations would be better. Trail riding is just as good, only drawback is having to load/unload every day. Thats not really a big deal. My trails are also unrestricted! And you don't need to pay for a permit to ride them. You all discuss this and I will do what ever the majority wants. If you are going the Hatfield/ McCoy route, you need to make reservations soon. | |

| Thats not really that bad if you have 8 people sharing a cabin. For 4 days its only about $100 per person. | |
