| I tried 9" all around on my 800 and hated it. Simply not enough traction in 2wd. It also looked a little funny to me. I think 11s wouldn't be a problem. Maybe a little more spin in 2wd. But I was also planning on switching from bighorns to something else. Maybe a little more bite. On the XP I've got EPS so I'm not to worried about the steering. I'm honestly not in 4wd very much so I don't think the extra wear and tear would be bad on the front. Besides I wonder how the weight of an aftermarket wheel compares to a stock aluminum. Heavier or lighter?
Sorry didn't mean to highjack. Just figured since we were talking about rims and tires lol. I've been looking at some of the same tires. Had bighorns the last 4 sets.. Kind of ready to try something else..

I bought a set of HTRs and sent them back because they ran small. That was my first and last set of Kendas. Sorry for your dilemma there Dan... Here's a pic of my 27/11s, almost 3 years old @ 9#s....Add at least an 1/8th for wear.... Maybe you measured them before inflated???

| Yeah I already looked into OMF myself. 200 per wheel plus shipping. At that price you might as well just buy some hypers.. Ebay has them for 460 a pair for 5-2 offset carbon fiber. Which is a good bad thing.. They are light and tough. But if you get a rock stuck in there could be ugly.. | |

- Ok maybe someone can help me with this. I've been kicking around tires and wheels also.. First question you guys running 7" rims on all four how can you mount a 11 or 12" wide tire on the rear but a 9" on the front" Wouldn't doing this make the rear tires taller then the front with the same tire pressure?
The other question, whats you guys thoughts on running a 11" wide tire on all fours on 7" rims.. I'm thinking very series about trying this.. Would keep the same amount of rubber on the ground as 9 front 12 rear. But would allow for rotating the tires. My thinking is also when your front end is up on a ledge or over a tree, ect it would help pull the rear more. The 4 seater can high center from time to time lol. Also this would do away with the wider tires on the same size rims as the front.. If that even matters. In my mind I can't see how the rear wouldn't be taller with the same PSI
BTW from my understanding of the way the awd works on a polaris the tires really need to the exact same diameter front and rear. Thats why I was worried about the rear being taller.. I also like the idea of rotating them for wear since the Rears wear much faster then the fronts.. I'm sure with an XP its even worse since they can spin the tires easily.. I am running Pitbull XOR Rockers 26.5x11Rx12's on all 4 corners it has some benefit's and some drawbacks. I'm very stable and have excellent traction, and they are super durable but I do have some rubbing in the front and I can't keep the mud out of the cockpit. I really like my Rockers they are a night and day difference from my stockers. Power steering is a must for the 11" tires on the front. It's nice that you have so many good options for tires these days. I got them from Matt at ATV Outfitters, great customer service and a forum sponsor.

| Hmmm, I may be the guinea pig on these since they come with a 2 year warranty. Maybe they learned their lesson on the T7's since it gave them such a bad reputation. Also these rims was designed from the beginning to be a beadlocker, not a rim that they currently already made and just added a locking ring. Did anybody check these out at the show in Indy? ITP Launches New "Severe Duty" Beadlock Wheels FEBRUARY 21, 2013, ONTARIO, CALIFORNIA - Remaining true to a company mantra of innovation, traction, and performance, ITP announced the immediate release of the “SD” ALLOY WHEEL SERIES, which includes the industry's first lightweight aluminum alloy dual bead-lock wheel. The newest 14” offering of ITP's family of lightweight aluminum alloy wheels incorporates bead lock design on both inner and outer wheel lips, providing “Total Tire Security”. No matter what happens to your tire, it will still be attached securely to both inner and outer beads. ITP is so confident in the strength and durability of the new SD wheels that they are backed by an Industry first 2-year limited warranty against bending and breaking. This new wheel will be available through all authorized ITP dealers worldwide. The 12” SD Alloy features a secure bead-lock on the outer lip, and ITP's “ROCK ARMOR” reinforced inner wheel lip. Advanced manufacturing process for the series yields an incredibly light weight, yet ultra-strong wheel. The SD Series wheels will soon be available in 14x7 DUAL BEAD LOCK and 12x7 SINGLE BEAD LOCK in bolt patterns to fit all of today's popular ATV and SxS's. Competitively priced, these new wheels include an authentic center cap. The SD wheels are a “must have” racing wheel for 2013 and beyond. Especially great for SxS applications where de-beading means the difference between getting there and getting back. | I have Hypers and paid $170 /wheel. They will build them any offset you want. I wanted lighter wheels / tires, so I went with 27" Bighorns and Hypers. Not sure what my next tire will be though. | |

Had to call ITP to get additional info on them. Guy on the phone said the rims will be available at the end of the month. I asked him about the specs of the 12" rims. They are 7" wide and 4+3 backspacing. I asked about pricing and he said they are priced about the same as the T7's. I had him give me the part # for a 12" wheel with RZR bolt pattern. The part # is 1228528536B . A quick Google search brings up these results. http://www.oemcycle.com/Item/product/900331599http://www.powersportjunkie.com/product-p/pu-0230-0573.htmIs $99 a good price for beadlocks?
