| 2013 RZR-S LE Picked this up this morning. So much for waiting a little while haha. Can't wait to ride! So far all i have for it is Pro Armor harnesses, roof, and i got to pick up a windshield before the weekend. Got it from Ritchie Powersports and they were awesome to deal with, called them yesterday and when I got there today i was in and out in no time. Recommend them to anyone! | |

I really did try to wait, but with selling mine last friday and having a rainy weekend of doing nothing but watching rzr videos it just wasn't happening. Gonna be the longest week ever tho waiting for saturday. Im so tempted to call in and go riding, but my wife would really kill me then. She is about to get out of the shower and see what i brought home hehehe. Hopefully she want be to mad, the orange was her favorite.

I'll give you some advice...leave the lift off and the big tires...27" is as big as I would go on tires...use your shocks to set your ride height...the machine will last much longer and you will have less trouble out of it. lifts and big tires just invite trouble...

Im gonna see if i can get the ground clearance im looking for without the lift, but i wanna keep from having a real stiff ride quality. If it rides to rough i will probably try putting a lift on it and loosining up the shock so it will ride better. Tires im with you on the 27's for 2 reasons. Easier on the clutch and id like to keep a 12" wheel. 28" would be the max i would put on it.

| Nice Rig........I always think of the cooler first then tools...... Then my lug nuts fall off and then others get their tools out and I go to my cooler.....Maybe I need to rethink that stratagy. But, that is what is great when you alway's ride with a great group of folks from here. | |

lol no kidding. See posts about your S breaking down all the time, Then your looking at XPs and 4 seaters. End up getting a ranger, Then bam ranger is for sale and looking again at an XP or an S. Then a week later new S.. All in like 3-4 months haha. If I were you I wouldn't do anything to your S. Just drive it. That sucker might not be there in a couple months! Kidding aside though. I would not slap a lift and big tires on it. You will be right back to breaking all the time. A lift for a RZR S is really not much different then just getting the shocks revalved.. All those lifts do is move the mounts out and up. Which just decreases leverage on the shock cause you stand it up.. This looses travel and stiffens the ride.. With the shock standing up more they also allow steeper angles on your CVs at full droop. You would be better off buying good shocks and springs or having your shocks revalved.. Honestly if you wanted more ground clearance and larger tires an XP would have been better. They are 14"+ from the factory and thats with out larger tires or shock work. They also have bigger beds . Atleast you got an LE S that comes with 1.5 fox shocks. Didn't your last S just have the sach shocks? The one you have now should ride much better

Yeah the last one had sach shocks, what little bit i got to ride it yesterday i can already tell i like the new shocks. Also i found alot of my last rzrs problems was the people working on it, so hoping i will have better luck with this one. Id still like to have a 4 seater but for some of our local riding it is hard to fit a 2 seater so i couldn't fit a 4 and i love the 900 2 seater, but imo i think rite outta the box the S is meant more for the east coast riding.

S was really meant for west coast. When they released it they marketed it just like they do the XPs now. 50" for trails S for wide open. Out here we just figured out how much better they handled and made the trails wider so they would fit. I think the same thing is happening with XPs. I know I went out and bought an expensive little compact echo chain saw like Gimpy has So its a pretty good guess that if I went down a trail the next XP will fit also lol
