It was a NS Special running between Rocky River and Bellevue Ohio on Sunday. It will be passing through as a dead head (no passengers) from Cleveland to Bellevue Ohio on May 30th and from Bellevue, OH to Fort Wayne, IN via Fostoria, OH on May31st. All on Norfolk Southern trackage. If you go to Fort Wayne Railroad Historical Societies Web site. They have an APP for I phone that you can track it's location or a link to track it's location on your computer. Very Cool and worth trying to seeing if you have the opportunity. On the website they also have a schedule and a link to buy tickets to ride. As a side note the diesel locomotive behind the tenders is just there for back up if the Steamer loses power.

They also use it for dynamic braking coming down big hills and as an APU for the cars that dont have their own power, outside of that shes completely in tow the Steam is doing all the pulling. People don't realize how much more powerful they were, just extremely inefficient.
