My first mod is taking it apart. In usual Polaris fashion, the rear hub-bushings, upper and lower were dry, so were the shock bushings....Nothing. All the arms, inboard, have zerks tho.

Now is fun time !!!

If you haven't got a windshield yet, them emp hard coated one is pretty nice. Alot cheaper than polaris too.

This thing is amazing!!! It's on another planet compared to anything Ranger I've driven. Got a couple more things done today. Pics to come.

STI's and HTR's on. Polaris Sport-Top installed . EMP half-windshield on the way.

This thing has separate fenders, dash and hood. No more one big piece of plastic crap!!! It would be very easy to do a white-wrap Chris.


On another note. This thing has engine-braking like a muther!!! It will slide the tires in low. Nothing like the free-wheeling 800.
Also gone are the bus-like ergos!!!!
The lowered seat and longer leg-room has a real sporty feel to it now. In fact ,I was going to get a T4, but both were together at the dealer next to each other and I jumped from one to the other at least ten-times.

If you closed your eyes, you cannot tell the difference. I know that may seem unreal, buckets vs. bench, but it sold me on the machine. And the torque.......Damn!!!!

Pate I do believe that is the same engine/trans as the RZR XP. I too was very impressed with the engine-braking. Yes, your rear wheels are going backwards in low......

Yep sounds like it has the same engine braking as a RZR Xp. I rode behind Ronnie right after he got his. I told him when we stopped I thought his rear tires were locking up when he hit his breaks. He said nope thats the engine braking.

Yes, the engine braking is daylight and dark difference between the 800 and 900. I have 1,000 miles on mine and recently changed rear brake pads while I was replacing my axles. I still had about 1/2 left because I rarely have to use my brakes.
