Unisteer problem? Empty
PostSubject: Unisteer problem?   Unisteer problem? EmptyTue May 28, 2013 9:55 pm

First off! it was good meeting some of you all this past weekend at trails end. Anyways while riding there my Unisteer power steering went out, I checked all connections and fuses and they are all good. It makes weird noises and jerks and then just stops working after stopping and turning power off and back on, and then red light comes on. Anyone know what may be wrong or had same issue? Thanks

When I first installed my unit it was prone to blowing fuses when I put it in a strain, ie trying to steer out of a deep rut. I contacted Tod at Hunterworks he told me to put next size amperage fuse in, haven't blown one since. And I am running 11" tires at all 4 corners. Check your installation instructions, the red light is issuing a code that identifies the problem. Or contact Hunterworks. Good luck getting it worked out.
