under armor skids

well i went to pro armor today , there the only ones
that make full under armor for an 08 rhino.
but i got my feeling hurt. besides the fact it costs a fortune.
the complete set adds 50 pounds to the rhino..... Sad

i dont like this. i think i will just go with trail logic skids
on front and back 3/16 aluminum and there CV protectors.
he seems to have the best price. and alot of folks I read that
have them are happy with them.
anyone have any thought about these.

same exact thoughts - the under belly on the rhino is plenty sufficient - but the front and rear skids are plastic - as are the cv guards....so I replaced only those....just dont see a reason for full under belly.

ditto wit ya robbie only i made my own front and rear replacments out of stainless and yes i made em in house...but broke down and bought aluminum cv guards from HW

Agreed, The underside of the Rhino stock is good enough. I've got the T-Logic front and rear skids,rear-diff brace,front and rear frame braces and for the price, they can't be beat. I'm not sure why Pro-Armor's stuff is so over-priced, from the few pieces I've seen in person, it ain't all that good. Keep-it light,keep it fast!!!!

How do yall feel about the floor board guards like hunter works sales.
that go on the front fender wale to keep logs and rocks from cracking the floor
or punching a hole in it. do you think its a good idea.

Dont make the same mistake I have....get protection for the floor panels. Mine looks like a Fred Flintstons ride.....not to mention the safety factor.

I have them too and love them!! while you are looking at Trail Logic stuff - make sure to look at front and rear diff supports and frame gussets - he will make you a package deal - pm him on rf.net - CaptAz. And I got some belm diff supports since no one sees em and they were about 1/2 off!!
