| Looks like you may need to take it apart to get the cable out. It ain't hard to bust a winch open and put back together. | |

| I am plannin on doin that tue or wed just in case this sunday i need it again seein how rob(eye opner) aint got 1 so i gotta be able to save my own arse or even his just not looking forward to it | |

| I never have had the cable get wound on the outside of the spool but I did get mine hung up a time or two. I soaked the whole spool and cable with WD40, let it set for a few minutes and then the cable pulled right out by hand, that was after I had tried hooking it to a tree and couldn't get it out that way.
I just thought I would try something and it worked!
Now every time I clean the rhino and winch up after a ride I spray the spool and cable liberally with WD40 and I have not had any problems since.
But, like I said I never got it wound on the outside of the spool! | |

Yes Shawn, you need to change the fairlead to a solid one. A roller will destroy the syn rope. It can get hung in it and will fray it. |

| well i think im gonna stick with this one for now just put hook back on the cable and have to save up for a new winch with a syn. rope set-up gotta save aint rich like yall | |
