| Running 30's on my Rsx. Stock 14 inch rims. I haven't noticed a loss in power, goes pretty good and just looks incredible. For what it's worth, a lot of the people I ride with went with 28s this summer, none of them have them now. | |

I have 28x10x14 Roctanes on my XP 900 and love them. The tire is closer to 29" tall then 28".

I have 28x10x14 Roctanes on my XP 900 and love them. The tire is closer to 29" tall then 28". Same here...I've had (2) different sets of 30's & just too hard on ball joints, bushings & tie rods. I can go in the same places with my 28 Rocktanes as I could with a set of 30 Rocktanes. The weight of a 30 inch tire is huge in comparision to a 28 imho.

| It depends on the tire. The Roctanes and Pitbulls run a little large while other brands such as ITP tend to run a little small. 30" Blackwater Evolutions replacing 26.5" Rockers Unmounted the 30" Blackwaters measure 28.5" tall and average 1/2 pound heavier per tire. | |

| I run the STI Rocktanes & the weight difference between a 28 & 30 is nearly 5lbs per tire. 4.8lbs to be specific. I ran 30's on my 800 & it killed power (in my opinion) I now have a 900xp with 28's & I can tell only a small power loss going up from 27's ( more than likely the weight of the 8 ply tire) | |

| I really like the Blackwater Evolution tires. My only problem was it ran small. A 27" was under 27" tall. At that time that was the largest tire they made. Now if they make a 30" and it measures 29" tall then that would be perfect. | |

I agree! I like the fact they offer it in a 12in. I may go this route when I wear my BHs out.

| Like others on here I went with 28" roctanes. And just like big R said they are more like a 29" tire. I think they are about the perfect size for a 900.. Still plenty of power, But also good ground clearance. Once I did a clutch kit my machine has pretty much the same power with 28" 8 ply tires as it did with the 26" 6 ply. | |

I agree! I like the fact they offer it in a 12in. I may go this route when I wear my BHs out. 12" wheels would have swayed me in this direction if the Blackwaters were available. However, now that I have 14" with 28"+ tires, I would not have it another way. I bet it will be hard to pinch that Blackwater though. Good set up for sure.
