She is recovering from Cancer Treatments and is nowhere near 100% yet. Our problem is that our favorite riding location in out in the country far enough that there is NO cell service, no houses, no nothing for miles around. We used to ride there alone just the two of us all the time. But now days I'm thinking that might not be a very good idea and we have nobody to ride with. By golly we're going to live in that Rhino next year.

I wouldn't look at like that.. I think riding alone is a horrible idea regardless.. I'm 33 and have no health problems.. I wouldn't ride miles out in the woods alone. Very easy to break something or just break down. Just look at all the guys who have rolled and gotten hurt.. How much fun would it be to roll a buggy break an arm then have to walk 10 miles in the mountains?

How about one of these? I've thought about getting one since where we ride sometimes there is not service

The spot messenger is pretty cool. I know a lot of the guys out west carry them in the dunes and desert. Would be good for a major emergency. Still doesn't help a lot if you break down. If a buddy can come get you he could have rode with to begin with. If I remember right with a spot you can also buy insurance so if you have to be chopperd out they cover the cost or most of it. Not a bad idea since those flights are very expensive.

Btw this is one of the reasons we carry a GPS. It doesn't do you much good to tell someone your stranded over here by a big tree and a rock lol

Club ride will do you good. Stay with the mild ride, meet some good folks, fart and laugh and create memories with friends you never knew until you rode with them.
