| While having the time of my life at Alpine on the T4 with a few guys from Mud and Guts Offroad I managed to find the weak (hopefully defective) spot on the driver rear of the Machine. Good thing I had a spare!! Look at my gimpy T4 The cast aluminum wheel cracked inside near the a-arm. Looks like a rock or something got in there but I am going with the whole found a defect story. The jury is still out on whether or not Kawasaki will warranty this as a defect. I have to take it to the stealership and they will assess the isssue take pictures and ultimately send all this info to Corporate to determine if they will warranty this issue. (2 weeks) SO I need your help on a new set of wheels if Kawasaki will not warranty this issue. Since this (single) wheel is $324 from Kawasaki I am looking at STI HD Beadlocks (Slik-Kote) and having the rings powder coated red. What are your thoughts? Love it? Hate it? Suggestions? Decisions decisions decisions... | |

| Well if you had rode with us @ RB sunday there's a good chance you would have had more than one defective wheel so that would force you to buy the STI's that you really want anyway. Considering I don't any common since when it comes to buying accessories for the toys I say go big or go home -----its just money. | |

| I like my STI B/Ls a lot Mike. Just remember the powdercoat is going to get some rash....That's why I went with the natural on the rings. | |

I have to agree with Pate on this. I really want to add the yellow ring to my XP but it will look like crap after a few rides. But you can't go wrong with the STI 's. Great wheel!!!!!!!!

| Another option to get some color. Wrap the rings. I saw a set somewhere, forgot where, a guy had wrapped his rings camo. Mess them up, peel off the wrap and do-over. | |

| Hope you have better luck then me.. Not sure how they are doing on Kawasaki's, But I tried to order a set of STIs bead locks a couple weeks ago and EVERYONE has them on back order.. I talked to hunter works and he said that STI is not suppose to have any more to ship for a while.. He told me around November . They are made over seas and shipped via container ship.. So if they run out between shipments it can take a while to get them back in. If you can get them for your T4 I wouldn't think twice about it.. Everyone seems to like them and for the money I don't think anything else comes close. | |

| I like my sti's, this is my 3rd set. I think the next cheapest option is the dwt diablos. They seem to be good beadlocks also. An I don't think I'd powder the rings either, mine are black and they are scraped all to pieces. Too many rocks where we ride. | |

| The STI Slik kotes are on eternal B/O. I talked to STI last week, they told me they had good stock on the machined and black in most distributors, however the Slik kote was on b/o. He said they did n't even have a ship date from the Factory. once they get that date the delivery to distributors could be as much as 60 days...I went a different direction. | |

| They look good!, I ended up just getting the stupid machined ones, since thats the only thing I could find. I had a hard time finding a 14" beadlock rim for a RZR I both liked and wasn't 250 a rim lol | |

Haha I also have a black RZR.. In my case I like the stock crusher rims with their silver ring and black rim. Who knows I might like the machined better.
