Swamp Lites or Roctanes Empty
PostSubject: Swamp Lites or Roctanes   Swamp Lites or Roctanes EmptyFri Oct 18, 2013 2:21 pm

Ok I ust ordered a set of STI beadlocks to put on the Jagged X so now I am need of some new tires. I know alot of you out there are running the Roctanes and a few the Swamp Lite. I have used the Swamp Lites on my old 2008 RZR and really like them but they were 27in on a 14in rim which caused a few pinched sidewalls. Any way what are your all recommendations for the two? I am either going 28x11x14 Swamp Lites all four corners or Roctanes 28x10x14. Thanks

I was very happy with my roctanes at windrock on the xp4. Only had these and bighorns on my four Seater so don't have a lot to compare to. And yeah your right I wouldn't go any smaller then 28" tires on 14" wheels. Really though the roctanes are more like 30" they measure over 29" tall

I have had swamplites on my T4 for a while now and really like them. At first I didn't think they would hold up to the weight, but so far so good.

I run 27x12x12 Swamp Lites on DFR beadlocks on all four corners and love them. We ride mostly rocky terrain and they hold up very well and I have yet to plug one. I am not a fan of 14" rims with small tires because as you mentioned tire pinch is a concern. Can't speak to the Rocktanes as no experience with them.

How do the 12x12 do on the front as far as steering and handling go... How does it turn? Thanks

There definitely thicker then the bg2.0's. I destroyed two of them on the t4. Mine weighs a little over 1600lb's and with 12psi (the same as the bg2.0's) I have yet to get any flats.

About 700 miles on my rocktanes and still happy with them. They go good on everything we ride.

Thanks for everyones coments. I have decided on 28x10x14 Roctanes on all 4 corners. I ordered them this morning and should be here this week. The STI beadlocks should be here today according to UPS.
