Day trip November 3rd.

Planning a day trip for the family November 3rd. Going to the new park adjacent to Cromer's Ridge. Wildcat off road park. Anyone wanna join?

Where is it near?? Some of us were thinking of a trip to Royal Blue about then.

Any camping near there?

Onsite. Primitive only as of last update. Full service with full hook ups planned. Modeled after royal blue and windrock. They are on Facebook. Wildcat Off-Road Park Also a big RV park at exit 49. A few miles from the entrance.

Do they have a website? That might be close enough for me.

I could do the 3rd but it would be a long day for a day trip for me. As far as Ride Royal Blue not sure.

Ok guys. This is the deal. We are planning on being there around 0800. If someone wants to meet up somewhere and then go in as a group let me know. Hope to see you there!!!

You guys will like it. It is pretty small and the prices will go up to $20 a head after they get the park done. The more fun riding is across the CSX tracks on the private property know as Callahan falls. Nice little water fall to look at, some hill climbs, and a creek run. There are also some cool old 1879 train tunnels there running next to the new modern train tunnels. Reports are that CSX is writing tickets though for tresspassing (AKA riding on or crossing the right of way).

They are making camping but isn't really up to speed yet. You can camp currently at the RV park at the truck stop at exit 49. It is a run down truck stop but the greasy spoon diner is actually really tasty. If you bring an RV I'd bring in your own water as the truck stop doesn't have city water hook ups so they truck in all their water.

Yep, Blue Knight called today.  We are going down for Nov. 1 & 2 at Royal Blue.  If we left early enough Sunday we might stop by the ride with MikeD. I put a post under TN riding. Is it showing up for you?

When does the hunter orange requirement start at RRB? From my memory it is right about this time last year? They raped me last year by making me buy orange vest and hat from the permit shop.

The main thing to remember is you have to wear orange on the head and chest, that includes helmets! Normally during hunting season it's only needed on the chest but WMA requires the head as well. Deer gun doesn't start until November but the Elk hunts begin on the 21st. Hunts are off and on until late January so we just make a habit of wearing it every time we ride until then.

Mike_D, I will be at Wildcat this Saturday but in the Jeep.  I plan to go back to Wildcat next weekend possibly in the RZR.  More than likely be meeting a few of my Jeep buddies there around 10 at the main gate.  Look for this red TJ with a Kentucky Krawlers sticker and come say hi if you make up to Wildcat.
