| What is the coldest ride you have been on in your SxS?
Mine was Brimstone January 2009. Saturday started out at -5. That was the first time I had ever been to Brimstone. | |

| Today! Zero by the time I made it to the farm. Checked the fences and pulled back into the shop. If this keeps up I will be looking at cabs and heaters. Might install a Motoalliance setup anyway. | |

| Windrock in '06. Not sure of the temps but we were on quads and were riding behind a new Rhino. We were freezing our butts off in the snow and the folks in the Rhino were toasty, toasted too. I told Missy then that it wouldn't be long before I was going to get me a Rhino. | |

| Well it wasn't SxS riding, but I went to the "Great White North" of northern NY in January of '97. I went snowmobiling with an uncle of mine. When we arrived it was -20, he asked if I wanted to go riding. I said sure and by the time we got back that night it was -30. Yes it was cold and even my yankee uncle admitted he was cold. | |

| Coldest riding was Windrock 1985. Knoxville recorded-24F as an all time record low that day. I think it was -21f when we headed out that morning but Windrock is always a little colder. There was no school that day so what else were we going to do...lol....looking back at that, I can't believe my parents would let us out in that but then again I was 16 and all grown up. lol. No rzrs then but 28 years later, the coldest in the RZR was about 5F.
One good thing about the cold is No Mudd and most of the time No dust because the mountain never gets to dry out and stays frozen.

| Brimstone January 2009 with Ronnie. -5 degrees it was so cold with no ice in the cooler , My water bottles were freezing. had to wrap a towel around the water bottles to keep them from freezing. Now thats cold. every time we stopped we had to build a fire... Ronnie tell them about you me and clay coming back from the stake house in my Yukon on the solid sheet of ice. i never been as nervous in an RZR as i was trying to get us back to the motel. Had we not had a car trailer behind us with my Rhino on it. I don't think we would of made it. the extra length of the trailer kept us straight. it was a hell of a ride. every one was crashing.... | |

| Clay City,Ky. pipeline on New Years day 1998. Riding dirt bikes- went through a running creek. got a little water in my front tire valve stem which froze letting the air out of the tire. first time I ever had to use a Zippo lighter to air up a tire. | |
