Can you ride from Helton's Hillbilly Condos to any of the trails at Windrock or do you have to trailer to the park?

I live about 10 minutes from Windrock and I've never heard of that place.

It's on Joel Rd... other side of Tri-County from Windrock... unless something has changed recently, I wouldn't try riding in the town of Oliver Springs... I would trailer from there...

Its between Windrock and Tri-County. It is off of Strutt Street  which is very close to Windrock but like Dan said- you wont be riding from there to Windrock. It would only take you about 5minutes but Nothing has changed in O.S. about ATV use on the roads.

But still it would be another option to stay at that is a lot closer to Windrock than having to stay in Oak Ridge hotels when everything is booked up around here, which is really only twice a year..  lol!

But most people stay in Oak Ridge anyway because I think it is because of all the food choices. And you can tell by looking at some people that they really like their food.  I think O.S would profit greatly if they put in a Long John Silvers. Windrock 13435

I believe we are going to stay at Indian Creek. Has anyone ever stayed there? What's it like?

Are you staying in the bunkhouses? It's not going to be like the Ritz-Carlton, but they are fine. One has a few bedrooms and the others have a room with a bunch of bunks. The one on the pond side has a separate kitchen and living room with cable TV. Benefits are that they are cheap (bring cash $, the green kind, not plastic) and you can ride to the trails. The downside, they are very basic.
