| Clayboy , are those the Maier Fender Flares? Personaly , I think a Rhino looks better without them. but i know i am going to haft to get some. to keep mud off me. we did not go though much mud as winrock. but you can see my aviator. and see, i was getting covered pretty good... But cant you do better than $199.00 , As Ronnie would say :D Ouch thats alot for , 4 peaces of plastic... Chris.... | |

| Yea, I know what ya mean. I didn't want to put them on, just got tired of getting mud all over me and passengers. I dont mind getting muddy, just not in the first mile. They are Maier's and they are very proud of those 4 pieces of plastic! | |

| They are not cheap. Mine, I got lucky and found a set on ebay for a hundred bucks. I think it was 115 with shipping and all. Maybe not quite as much coverage or aesthetically pleasing as the Maier, but I am pretty happy.
Those look nice Clay! | |

| Yea, I think the Maiers are about 1/2" wider than Yamaha's so you do get a little more coverage. I'm still looking for a less expensive brand to carry. | |

| Clayboy , just stick with the Maiers brand. it good quality, i looked at most out there. and thay dont look so good. the factory yamahas look ok. but as LT says. thay dont cover as much. and the ones that come on a SE dont look good. thay have a crease in the rears... the factory yamahas are over $200 from the dealer. so 199 for the Maiers may not be so bad. | it would be nice if thay made plugs to cover the screws , so it would have a smooth finsh.... | |

| a little rattle can on them silver screws will help a bit not smooth as a plug but get rid of the "jumping out" affect the silver has | |

| I like the look of the flares. The Maiers are the best cover I've seen (IMO). However, you really need to get the mud flaps as well.
Yamaha are really for looks only. I am not sure if they even get you a 1/2" coverage. | |

| hunterworks old flares are the best........the had the mudflaps on the front and rear.....they are awesome...i can pretty much ride anywhere all day and stay clean....can't beat that....i think Todd quit carrying them cause he had to buy to many at a time or something.....if anyone wants a pic of them i can post one...... also a cheap way for some flares would be how the Yank made his.....i think he had 70 or 90 bucks in them. | |
