| Jr is fixing to turn 9 and wants a quad. He did want a RZR 170 but has changed his mind (again). I'm not going to buy a chino quad. He killed the last one.......I was always working on it. Not going there again. Any suggestions for a youth sized ATV?? I'd rather have something just a nudge big for him right now so in two years he hasn't out-grown it. He can handle a Grizzly 550 Yamaha (mikes) but that's a little too big and powerful for him right now. Something in the 150 to 200ish range?? I cant find anything. | |

| Kawasaki has a 300 I think it is brute force but that might be a touch big but my buddy at the Polaris Kawasaki dealer said those 300 are super reliable. | |

| Not sure how old he was at the time but I bought a used 300 EX Honda that lasted quite a while. But it is a clutch too. They are bullet proof though! | |

| I'm rebuilding a Polaris predator 90 right now and for it to be a 90cc i'm impressed. It hauls me around and I weigh like 230lbs. even done some doughnuts in the gravel lot. | |

| I think anything with a clutch would be a little too much for him at his current skill level. We have some pretty nasty up-hills around here. He can drive my 900, but only on the street. It's a little too much in the dirt. Blu the Pred 90 will haul him but it's just a little too small. I'm going to take him shopping tomorrow.....We'll see. | |

| I set Austin in the ACE two weeks ago at WR...He loved it, and it fit him like a glove. he is 10, and quite small for his age. | |

The Ozark 250 is a good solid quad for a 9 year old and gives a little room to grow into. A buddy of mine got his son one at around that age and it was perfect for him. That's been been about 4 years ago and the little quad still going strong. | |

| a Honda recon 250 will take him anywhere and it even pulls grown men just fine, and its smaller than the big quads plus they are bullet proof. | |

| The Recon 250 is a little too big. The Honda 90s were a little small. The Yamaha 125 was honestly goofy looking. Can-Am has a 70 and a 90 in the same frame but it was a little smallish too. We settled on a Sportsman 90. Just a little too big but not by much. Nice racks, sealed brakes, all of them had chains , but oh-well. | |
