No way the shock broke that trailing arm.  No way!!!!  I know ORB is a good dude but Smoothride knows shocks.

That arm broke then shit happened.  I have to agree with what 8 ball said about trailing arms....  Wink

Nope, was not the shock no doubt. Tim is great guy, got a new set of rear shocks headed his way. The arm broke right behind the angle iron welded to the bottom of the arm. There is a ~3" gap between the re-enforcement angle and the lower tube. Created a weak point and metal fatigue caused it to break. Could not see this happening on a two seater but the extra weight of the four took it's toll.

It would take a silage hammer, blow torch and a drunk Catmostfeared to brake a Zbroz......  lol!

I hope the longer angle iron fixes it. It did break very quick. I think the problem is the single tube. I'm sure the angle will help, but I have a feeling it might just take longer for the same thing to happen. Who knows though maybe not..

And I'm with big R. Even Marty would have a hard time bending a Zbroz. I've seen him and a few others beat on them pretty hard with out a problem. I know I've gave mine hell. I managed to break my factory sway bar and my heim joints have some slop in them, But thats about it.
