Finally got the initial chapter ride of the port st joe EZGO riders in the books. the day started off nice and cool but quickly turned into a humid and hot affair and barely had time to stop and take a pic due to the adverse conditions. The ride was an uneventful affair even when we stopped at the overpass on the self advertised canal called the gator hole. No gators were spotted nor bears as on a previous trip to st joe. the cougar choose to stay hidden as well. Happy to report that the blue crabs are migrating in closer to the shore and soon the scallop season will open at the end of the month.

That looks like the state-park. It is a cool place. Nice to be able to ride on the beach.

lol jimbo our house is straight across from the tip of st joe peninsula. we can see it from our breakfast table. If you know where windmark is,,, that's where we be. Gimpy I did take it in the loose sand and it was weird if your not used to riding in the loose sand.. and I mean similar to way above high tide... anybody be there around the 4th holidays holler.

I can't remember the name of the side-street to access the beach. We stayed at Barrier-dunes. The beach access street was just past Cone-Heads. You're super lucky my friend. That's a killer place to visit much less live. We were going to come back this year, but things in life got in the way. But the Pate-clan will be back!!!
