Tackett Creek 6-27-14 & 6-28-14

Got to do a ride with the Terex boys at Tackett Creek.  Took photos of Cumberland Gap's White Lighting Festival too.  Ran across Big R, TFRYE and others on the night ride back.  Talked to Chad tonight and realized when we were on the South side of the mountain, we were picking them up on channel 3 while scanning, just did not know it was their group.

Also in a few of the photos are some pics from an airplane crash that still has parts up there on the mountain.  It was from around World War I era I think they said.

Joe K, I think we were above Norris Lake. Some of the overlook shots are there. Is that where you live?

The plane crash was in 02, personal plane with only the pilot onboard. I have a link to all the details if ur interested in reading about it.

No on going to the sand cave. They were headed there Sunday.

That wasn't the crash on Koker Knob. The Koker Knob crash occured in late 1960's... parts of the fuselage are all that's left on Koker...

My bad for the wrong info. Is there pieces of both planes up there or just the one from the 60's? The only one I've seen is at Koker Knob. I was told it was the one listed above, I just assumed they were right with it being in the vicinity of No Business. If there's pieces of the newer crash I'd love to check it out if you know anything about it.
