I think the horsepower difference will be almost un-noticeable. The 900s is now using the Ranger 900 Pro-Star engine and tranny (has turf-mode). It has more torque down low than the RZR motor. Perfect for trails.

Ive been telling myself if they came out with a 900s id wait a couple months and see how it goes. They come out and prices are high on them since they just came out, so I thought another good reason to wait but I don't know how much longer I can stand it and I have strict instructions from the boss that I better not go trade my rzr lol. Gonna take mine by today and see what they will give on trade, which im sure will be a good way to keep me from getting one rite now. Hard to let one go that's a year old for half of what you have in it.

For the increase in price they could have made it a bit more value for the money. I mean we can but a Corolla for the price of the new S. Those have heat and AC.
Guess I'll be sticking with my 800S LE for a couple more years.

Kinda disappointed with HP. After you get all your goodies on it the HP to weight ratio is a factor. My S weighs close to 1500 lbs. I NEED MORE POWER SCOTTY!!!!

Been reading about the 900 S. Apparently it is a huge improvement over the current S HP wise. From my understanding the 800 S is 52 HP and the new one is 75 HP plus geared lowered and torquey
So if a S is what you want, then the new one is a homerun improvement

Fast forward to 1:00 and listen to how quick it revs when he is getting in it. Looks pretty mean to me.

Saturday I went to the dealer and drove one, then took the xp1k for a spin and as far as power goes the difference between the 2 wasn't that big. My only problem now is the wife liked the xp1k more than the 900s. How did she go from being mad about me wanting a 900s to wanting a xp1k? lol either way anyone need a good modded 2013 rzr-s with 5yr warranty?
