Pics from Ouray, Colorado ride

Went out to Ouray, Colorado this year with the family in July.  Been busy since then at work so couldn't post pics.  
Riding was nice.  Was hoping to hit some harder trails, but my Dad's Ranger broke and my boys Outlaw 90 couldn't make it past 11,500'.  We did get to do Imogene Pass though-second highest pass in the U.S.  That was pretty fun.

Great pics Chad. I always loved being out there and above the storms sometimes, except when I was on a horse.

Yeah, I would like to do Rally on the Rocks next year. Did Taylor Park last year and it was better. Ouray is good for wife and kids though. Not too difficult, just really pretty.

  

All I can say is WOW....... that places looks beautiful.

Great pics. A beautiful place for sure. I walked around on top of Imogene pass in '89. Isn't it around 13,000 ft. Above sea level? Great trip thanks for sharing.

We were there Aug 1 thru Aug 8. That is a great place to go and would be even better if they would let you ride your RZR to the Trail Heads. They will now let you ride your atv and sideXsides in Silverton and Lake City; maybe Ouray and Teluride will do the same in a couple of years.

Yeah we talked to some business owners in ouray and they were saying there is still too much jeep and hiking activity, but others sounded like they wanted it. I think if we go again we will stay in silverton. There is an outfitter company there for sale called the Sierra trading company or something like that for $100,000. Thinking about making an offer on it so we can move out there. Still waiting on his financials though. I don't think he's very motivated to sell.
