| My 2011 800 RZR started to over heat the other night. Checked fan, fuse, relay, temp sensor, grounds everything checks out ok. Looks like it maybe the ECM how do you test it ? How can I buy pass the factory setup and go with a aftermarket setup , will I be able to use the oem temp sensor ?
Thanks | |

| UTV inc makes a override switch for like $30 so you can manually turn it on and off. | |

| It is prob the Realy Breaker, I forget which one it is called. But its in the wire harness rite under the drivers seat. It might have some tape around it but you will see it, its rectangular in shape. They are bad about getting rusted up and rotting out. I have replaced a couple of them. Its 15amp and you can get it at a auto parts store for around $20. What I usually do is solder in some extensions and route them up the harness and mount it by the ECU behind the seat. | |

| relay is good. Every thing checks out looks like it's the ECM. Going to get a after market electric fan relay and bypass the factory wiring. | |

| two ways to fix it quick and cheap, all you have to do is add a toggle switch to the hot on the fan, run the wire thru the switch to a hot wire, three bucks and a few feet of wire. or just do a tap to a wire that's hot from the switch and run it to the hot side on the fan, then when you crank it the fan is running. | |

| I seriously doubt the problem is with the ECM. There is a circuit breaker located in the wiring harness under the floor that is known for going bad due to water corrison. Cut it out and splice the wires together then reloacte a new circuit breaker in a better spot. | |

| you did check the fan right? cause if everything else is good then you either have a bad fan or a bad wire somewhere | |

| Fixed it was the wire going from the circuit breaker to the fuse box. Wire was nicked and corroded in half. | |
