Blast from the past............

Admit it. Before all the high-dollar, high end machines. We used to have a lot of fun! Them old Rhinos were, and still are the king of taking some abuse!

I know , it was cold as shit. I could hardly move. i had 6 layers of cloths on
and a monkey suit..... But i was warm. My feet would get a little cold when
we stopped , and i had 3 pairs of socks on.
I remember i cooked hot dogs on my muffler for lunch that day. They were good...
it was 5 degrees out that day. it was -5 when we started.

We were talking about that this weekend. Man that was a cold ride!!!

That ride was not near as eventful as that night when me , ronnie and clayboy
went to the stake house that night in my Yukon , it was 10 degrees and everything was fine
when we got there , an hour later when we came out everything was a solid sheet
of black ice. it was a scary drive at 1 mph back to the motel. everyone was crashing.
it took us an hour to go 8 miles. had we not had my car trailer and my rhino behind us
to help keep us lined up , I don't think we would have made it. it was scary as hell.
The next day going home , I bet i saw 100 cars that crashed and slide off cliffs.
We were very lucky. I was never so Happy as when we got back in the motel parking lot
that night.....

chris this pic is from the ride at wagonwheel. March 2009 l. there is mud and snow. on the 5 degree ride at brimstone there was 0 mud and a lot of dust.

edge the ride i am thinking of was Jan 09 at Brimstone.
it was so cold. my water bottles in my cooler with no ice were freezing .
i had to wrap a towel around them in the cooler to keep them from freezing...

i liked my rhino but i broke more shit on it than i ever broke on any rzr.

I was there, towed bushes rhino about half way back so they could put it on a trailer with my brand new 09 RZR, one of first two in the SSXSR's everybodys buddy old bobbyD had the first one

Its always nice to look back at old pics!!!........but as far as RHINOs go, that would
be like going back to HORSE & BUGGY days..........my RHINO overheated, etc, etc, don't
miss it at all
