Can Am Limited Info

Have a chance to pick up a brand new Limiter of 16K anyone know of any problems with Can Am or reason for me to pass. Lots of bells and whistles that I don't need but the price seems right.

dealers and factory don't honor warranty very good, 4x4 not near as good as Polaris, only going by what friends who have them say, never owned one myself Vince.

I think you're referring to a Can Am commander Limited? If so I would look harder at A maverick than a commander because of the suspension. The front diff in any of them sucks but you can get a locker now for 1400. I am fortunate I have a great dealer that has done everything I've needed but then again the only thing that I have had replaced under warranty is the tilt RAM for the steering column,I have about 2800 miles on mine so far with no issues other than a ripped cv boot.

If I were to get a Can Am it would be the Maverick.

The Commander Limited is the only one available at this price. My hardcore days are over. I am looking for something that will keep up but not for tackling the severe obstacles.

Price should not be the only selling point. What are you truly going to do with it? ( deer hunt, haul fire wood?) If you need a real bed, then the commander is the way to go. Ground clearance is a drawback. If that's not the case, go maverick for the suspension like the other maverick owners are saying. I can't comment on a maverick since i've never owned or drove one. Kinda scared to drive one, i need to allocate my money toward another project right now. Either machine will trail ride. For 16k i would find a low mileage used one on craigslist. Most people buy the extended warranty now a days and it's usually transferable. The way the can am seem to be holding up, i wouldn't worry about warranty.

Damn why this gotta be so hard. When I bought my RZR in 08 ya'll had Rhinos. Being out for a few years all the new stuff is overwhelming. I like the look of the Cmdr. but the reliability/warrantee complaints have me spooked. I went out today and looked at a RZR 900 ESP. Leaning hard that way.

or you could check out the xp1000, even if you don't need all that power.....

Abernathys in nashville did have leftover xp1000's for around $16,588.00

vince maybe a Ranger 900 would suit you better, they do good on the trails and work hard too
