PostSubject: Brakesssssssssssss   Brakesssssssssssss EmptySun Aug 10, 2008 12:42 am

I put my third set of rear brakes on today that would be four including the stockers. The last ones were sintered pads, but I only got around 400 to 500 miles on em. I used the KBC,s (not sintered) for the previous two sets because that was what the local shop had on hand at the time. The sintered lasted a little longer but not much. I went back to the stockers. I got about 1100 miles off the factory pads.....doing the math made them seem like the best choice. I have 2300 miles now so as you can see about 400 miles on average for the aftermarket pads.

My disk seems to be in fairly good shape.

What is your experince with brakes? How many miles you get out of pads

Depends greatly on the terrain your riding in. If your up and down alot of hills, they wont last long. I got 600 miles out of my stockers.

Yea, I thought they were going out again with only 250 miles on them. But, it was just a little rock stuck in there that was making the noise. Rolling Eyes
