I got the wife a GoPro for Christmas. It sounds like the better they get, the more knowledge required to operate them!! Good luck!!

I have the Go Pro brand Roll cage mount. It works well and you can change things up since it is easily removable. I would suggest getting a couple extra batteries. We go through two on a full day of riding. Also if you have a smart phone, There is an app to control the camera through the wifi connection.

I have a suction cup mount that works pretty well. It will mount to the dash, windshield, or the front plastic.

Does anyone have two mounts one front one back. I notice that the cameras are switched around a good bit. Or do you just move the mount and camera? Scott said he carries extra batteries sounds like a good idea. Anybody else do that?

buy an extra memory card and be sure to use the highest resolution to achieve the maximum performance. and I also bought several of the 3m go pro sticky mounts, practice placing those because they stay where you stick them. I use a ram mount, the suction cup which is rated 200 mph, and have the waterproof skeleton and also bought a 5 foot extendable mono pod to use overhead in crowd conditions and I use the android app for my Samsung which is very handy for checking your picture view and resoulution.... I also modified an extension stick that can extend 38 feet in the air

I've got 2 gopros, one on the front and one on the rear. I use roll bar mounts (not the cheesy gopro ones) to hold them securely. I have a Hero 3 on the front and it's linked to my phone for remote control. The rear is the original Hero 1 with a wifi pack and I have a remote mounted on the dash. The Hero 3 app is cool, allows you to see & control the camera from your smart phone.
