| There's nothing out there yet Jarred. They don't get caught testing like Polaris and A-Cat does. They are very stealthy. | |

| Yeah, there's all sorts of speculation on the big forum about it. They seem to have the farm and ranch market pretty well covered already with the Viking and the six seater. This new model may very well be their sport model which supposedly has been sitting on the shelf for several years but I would honestly be surprised if it even compares to the performance of the rzr xp1k. Maybe something more along the lines of an old 800 50". Either way I'm not going to get my panties in a wad over it. They have disappointed so many times in the past that it's hard to get excited about anything they do. The old adage of "Fool me once, your fault, fool me twice, my fault" comes to mind. | |

They have a single cylinder engine in a machine that others have two......... Just saying, don't get your hopes up!

| I've heard it is a sport machine and doesn't have a belt. Excited that they may be actually releasing something decent. | |

Hondas don't have belts either, just sayin'! Don't think Honda will actually get in and play the game to thier full potential. Not real sure on how far yamaha will go. They're making somewhat of an effort but seriously doubt it'll be a contender in the 1000cc range. Anything new and different is good to see tho.

| Yamaha does about 16 billion a year in sales compared to 2-3 billion for Polaris. I have no doubt Yamaha will sit at the top of the hill in the side x side market again. They push the envelope and lead the way when it comes to innovation. They took a back seat during the lawsuits but they have committed to the side x side market and the snowmobile market. So far they have released 2 of the 5 new side x sides and word is they will announce another one on the 20th of this month and then another one in June of this year. I'm reading a lot of posts from people that act like they have some inside info saying Yamaha is about to shake it up and the RZR xp1k will be in 4th place as far as HP goes. We know Yamaha has some amazing motors to work with already so we'll see what happens. | |

Like most people here we have been holding are breath for far to long. We have moved on to other machines and will wait for Yamaha no longer. I hope they will get back on track one day....... But I doubt it.

| Regardless it will be a first year machine, I don't buy first years any more. Only 2 exceptions I can think of are the 2009S and the 2014 XP1k but they still had issues, every model / year does | |
