| Man that is ugly dude. No way of telling how long it will last. Depends on what kind of abuse it gets on the same spot. What are you thinking of doing about it? I say ride it till it goes flat and carry a spare. | |

I say ride it till it goes flat and carry a spare. I'm not sure what I am going to do. The only spare tire I have is the stockers and there are 25" not 26". I have heard that isn't good on the machine. Not sure what to do. How bad will it ware a new tire with the three old ones? | |

| Depends if you want to go with the same tires for your next set. If you do, I would buy a new one and put it on the spare stock rear wheel and keep it as a spare. if that tire does last when you replace them you will only need to buy 3 more. | |

| Go buy a tube R. I sliced a almost brand-new Duro like that. Put a tube in it and have had no problems. |

| DUCT TAPE :D just kiddin had to though it fixes everything that and zip-ties but super glue sounds like a winner and just carry a "full size" spare and if/when it blows a quick swap and back on the trails | |

| If it's holding air, run it!! I got a few nasty cuts in the Swamps, just part of the game. I'll bring you a new one to Evarts if you want. | |

| Thats what i would do Ronnie , just buy one new XTR and put it on a stock rim to have as a spare. you know your going to stay with XTR's , and when its time for new. you could just buy 3 instead of 4 if you wanted to save a buck. Chris.... | |

| stock spares arent bad - remember this though - they a spare is designed to get you home - THATS IT... then chamge it....
Sidewall slashes suck - but they are a part of it....
I would carry a stock spare - when the cut one goes - put the spare on - get home - assess the situation then - you may go ahead and buy 5 new ones and one new rim to have an ACTIVE spare....
just my $.02 | |
