| I was wanting some information about exit 141 off interstate 75 in TN. My understanding you can stay at the comfort Inn at that exit and ride from there onto the trail is this true? Also is this TWRA trails and can you get a permit nearby there? I saw a YouTube video on this but haven't been able to locate it again. Was planning a trip up there hopefully around Memorial day and figure Trails End is probably going to be booked before I can get my group to commit. Any help will be appreciated. | |

| Yes, there are trails that you can get to from that exit. TWRA trails are right off Howard barker Hwy just down the road from the Comfort Inn. Back under I75 and up to the left are Royal Blue trails. However, unless you are VERY familiar with the trails I would not suggest starting from that point on either. Trails Ends is a LONG ride from there and you actually much closer to Royal Blue than Trails End / Brimstone area. Not sure if you cam purchase permits anywhere close or not. | |

| U can usually get twra permits form a Walmart in Tn. If ur wanting to camp trails end should have spots available, I'm sure cabins will be booked tho. Lots of people stay at the comfort inn and ride Royal blue, easy to hit them from the motel. As RZR joe said long way to trails end from there with many roads to get lost on. | |

| That is the TWRA System and Royal Blue. A TWRA single person hunting permit and buggy permit is all you will need to ride TWRA and Royal Blue. If I remember, it was about $109.00 total for both annual Permits. | |

| I'm not sure about out of state fees, but it is cheaper to buy a small game license and wma permit than a OHV permit if you live in TN. As a bonus, you can hunt, fish and ride WMAs other than North Cumberland. | |

| Ride The North Cumberland Wildlife Management Area from Trails End Campground In the Cumberland Mountains of East Tennessee lies over 150,000 acres of wilderness waiting to be explored by outdoor enthusiast. There are 600 miles of multi-use trails ready to be conquered by the off-roaming enthusiast.
The NCWMA is made up of 3 connected trail systems: The New River Unit, The Royal Blue Unit, and The Sundquist Unit. The areas are all linked together, and one permit per rider allows you to ride it all.
