andersen ultimate 5th wheel hitch

anyone ever used one?

i was thinking of going with the b&w companion but i need the articulation of the gooseneck and the anderson is lighter and cheaper. + it will work with any truck with a gooseneck ball where the B&W only works with there turnover hitch.
i have an GN adapter on my camper now but not planing to go back with one

I don't see it as 5th wheel hitch. It looks to ma as it's still a goose neck.

When I had the gooseneck adapters, I always felt a bucking effect on the trailer to truck. Not sure if it was those particular trailers or the adapter. I have nothing with the B&W Companion. Works great for me. Loading and unloading is a breeze too. I have an electric hoist in the barn for the Companion. Those guys need to invent something similar to the Companion but will work with the 5th wheel and not a gooseneck. Remember, there were some on Duramax Forum who used the gooseneck adapters and broke them off. Their insurance denied the claims for the trucks and trailers as they considered the adapters as non approved manufactures products.
