| I started putting in the Firestorm yesterday and might finish today, in the XP 900. You have to order it specific for the EPS (Electric Power Steering) This one has multiple vents including the defroster's. Chad and RZR Joe have them and they look to perform way better than the Summitt Racing heater I have in the RZRS. Also was tired of the windshield steaming up on the S.

| Comments on the Firestorm, now that it is installed. The instructions suck for the XP 900. The instructions look to be for an old RZR and not adapted to the XP. You have to figure which mounting brackets to use and how to use them. Not enough nuts and bolts for everything either. Do not drill the holes in the firewall where they say to, for the hoses. The instructions are for something other than the XP 900. Found out after the fact. Drill the holes for the hoses directly behind where the heater mounts and side by side, not on top of each other. They do provide the right size hole saw bits with the kit for the hose holes and the defroster vent holes.
It is worth the trouble to figure out how to mount it compared to the options on the heater unit. I just have to make the hose connections to the machine next. | |
